IEC61131-3 PLC programming (ST, FDB, SFC, IL, LD)

CODESYS V3.5 enables easy programming through all IEC 61131-3-supported languages and the extensions of CODESYS.

The main features of the CODESYS environment are introduced in our User Manual for the specific products eg. AWC 500, AMC 300 and PPU 300 CODESYS, and additional information can be found in the complete technical documentation available online.

Support for DEIF hardware is performed by installing our Target Support Packages, which includes Device Descriptions, EtherCAT Device descriptions and related libraries and tools.

Programming editor and debug 
The advanced debugging interface gives complete control of all internal variables without the need for any additional tools. It is easy to set up and use the trace function to monitor time series of selected variables in the application.

I/O configuration 
DEIFs Hardware modules are supported either as fixed I/O or as EtherCAT I/O.  Fixed I/O is configured via the Device Tree. EtherCAT I/O is configured via the Devices under the EtherCAT master. An EtherCAT Scan automatically locates all DEIF Hardware modules available on the EtherCAT bus system.

There after I/O configuration and mapping to memory variables is performed the generic CODESYS way.

Visualisation 
CODESYS V3 offers an advanced visualisation tool which is supported by every web browser environment. The visualisation tool is integrated in the CODESYS V3 environment and makes it easy to design the visualisation together with the application programming.

The visualisations can then be accessed via browsers featuring support for HTML5/JavaScript.
